My name is Abagael, and I am kind of bizarre. Ha ha! I was born and raised in Southern California, and I live right next to the beach. You can even hear the seals over by the harbor at night. We don't have the best waves ever, but we certainly have spectacular sunsets!
I joined the Newspaper & Literary Magazine because I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to sharpen my writing skills (or lack thereof, depending on your perspective). I enjoy writing, and would love to be able to contribute to my fabulous school.
I don't have very much experience writing for newspapers or magazines, or any type of writing that can be read by individuals other than teachers. I have written plenty of essays and stories for my English classes, but it is very rare that I share my writing with other people. I have a little book that I call my Thoughtbook, where I write whatever silly thought enters my head, be it my opinions concerning various matters, or nonsensical wonders that flutter through my brain.
My hobbies include staying up late reading whatever book I can get my hands on, watching movies with my Dad and older brothers, baking random goodies just for the fun of it, and chowing down on bucketfuls of sushi (or any type of oriental food, really). I am excessively hyper and laugh at practically anything, am extremely loud and frivolous, as well as rather clumsy. I love making new friends, so feel free to introduce yourself!
